Wolfhound Country (Wolfhounds Book 1)

The landing zone is a smoking hole in the jungle, and first platoon is already going in.

Crowell commands a rifle company out of Cu Chi. His radio operator, Engstrom, writes everything down in a notebook he keeps in his helmet band, and First Sergeant Beck always knows who is missing before anyone says it.

An air assault into a clearing the map calls Spruce goes wrong in the first lift, and Crowell ends up holding his company together in a small hole in the jungle.
