Signed Out (The Missing Dog Unit Book 2)

A locked memory-care wing, an old man gone in the night, and a river that keeps rising.

The rain has been coming down for days in Lindenport when an old man walks out of a locked wing at Sedgwick House, down on the east bend by the river, in the middle of the night. Nobody saw him go. His daughter, a nurse, comes straight off her shift and needs somebody who won't stop looking.

Gabriel brings Gideon, his bloodhound, who won't invent a trail that isn't there. By morning everyone will want their people on the river, and the detective who called him expects to be told to stop.
