Cisterna Trap (Rangers Lead the Way Book 4)

The landing was quiet. That was the strange part.

After Sicily, Salerno and a winter in the mountains, the Rangers go ashore at Anzio on a flat, oily sea, and nobody shoots at them. Then the orders come: a night march up the ditches toward Cisterna, Staff Sergeant Harlow's platoon moving in the dark with the rest of the battalion.

First light finds them in flat open fields, with a farmhouse, a barn and a ditch for cover, and the Germans waiting with paratroopers, guns on tracks and tanks.

Cisterna Trap is Book 4 of the Rangers Lead the Way series.
